Focusing in on elements of natural, organic design, today’s fine art editorial from Kerry Jeanne Photography, is strikingly beautiful. We’re enthralled with the rich, earth tones of the desert and adore the way stylist Sweet Pea Events used a palette of blush pink with gold accents to compliment the setting. Thatch Floral provided lush, jaw-dropping blooms while Seniman Calligraphy curated elegant stationery details with delicate calligraphy. Barefoot in a stunning Saint Isabel gown, the bride is a dazzling vision, eloping with her handsome groom as the sun sets over the cliffs – what an absolute dream!
From Kerry Jeanne Photography: When driving across Washington, there’s a little desert town right by the Columbia River called Vantage. It’s one of those places that you just can’t drive through, you have to stop and breathe in earth’s natural beauty. The idea for this elopement inspiration shoot hit us strongly with a desert and sage theme. We wanted to combine the elegance of the almost surreal natural elements surrounding Vantage. With the Petrified Forest, sage and dramatic water views, what more could you ask for in an elopement? We decided for a very earthy and organic look with an emphasis on greenery and accents of ivory, antique gold, and pale pinks.
Every detail was carefully hand selected to only add to this natural beauty. Instead of using a table, we used a natural stone conveniently found in the desert. The soft centerpiece and greenery added a timeless romance to the tablescape. Linen napkins, taper candles, and ceramic plates completed this look. The bouquet was big and wild. It took the soft palette of our surroundings and added a romantic elegance. The wedding announcement was designed with an earthy feel in mind. The cake was designed with soft muted colors. The bottom tier was created to look like the linens that were used. An air plant was added to complete the desert theme.
Our real-life couple, Mackenzie and Graham, have been together for a year. Their love for each other was all-encompassing. At one point the Graham was just staring at his girl and said: “I can’t believe how majestic she looks.” It made all of our hearts melt.
When we were wrapping up for the day, the sun decided to finally pop out and provided us with the perfect evening glow. We kept going only to capture some of our favorite images.
